Privacy Policy
This policy explains what California Visitation Services collects through this website, how it is used, and how you can request changes. It covers the public website only — visit records and case files are governed by our service agreement and applicable child-welfare statutes.
What we collect
When you submit the contact form, we receive the name, email, and message you provide. To control spam, we also receive your IP address, browser user agent, and a Cloudflare Turnstile verification result.
We do not use advertising cookies. Aggregate, privacy-preserving traffic statistics are collected via Cloudflare Web Analytics — no individual identifiers, no cross-site tracking.
How we use it
Form submissions are used solely to respond to your inquiry. We do not sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing.
Service providers
- Cloudflare — hosting, DNS, bot defense (Turnstile), and aggregate analytics.
- Amazon Web Services (SES) — delivery of contact-form email to our staff inbox.
Retention
Contact-form messages are retained in our staff inbox for up to 24 months, then deleted unless an active engagement requires longer retention.
Your rights
You may request a copy of any personal information we hold from your contact-form submission, ask that it be corrected, or ask that it be deleted. Email OBVisitation@gmail.com with the subject line “Privacy request.”
Children
This website is directed to adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision.
